City of Mesquite December 23, 2008 CityLimits2008 vector digital data withheld CityLimits2008 This is a copy of the 2008 City Boundary including the Desert Sage Annexation. Bulloch Brothers Engineering delivered the boundary on December 22, 2008. The file was in AutoCAD format and converted to GIS. The final recorded map is in SIRE, and this map can also be accessed at the County Assessor's Site - Map Type: LG, Map File 001, Map Page 0123. The filing number is: 0006367 and this document was filed with Clark County on November 13, 2008. The Annexation was approved by the City Council on October 28, 2008. (See Ordinance 409). The Annexation went into effect on November 27, 2008. As a follow-up to the boundary accuracy issue, the City Engineer (Allen Bell) indicated on August 6, 2009 that the GIS layer for the city boundary was indeed accurate and was verified by Bulloch Brothers. Any apparent registration issues caused by the attempt to align portions of the city boundary to the section lines is a result of the section lines themselves not being captured at survey grade level.
